The Problem We Solve
You post on Indeed. You get 80 applications. Maybe 5 are relevant. You spend your Tuesday night reading resumes instead of running the floor. By the time you call someone back, they've already taken another job.
Job boards optimize for volume, not quality. You get buried in irrelevant applicants.
You're managing a restaurant, not an HR department. Screening takes hours you don't have.
In hospitality, the best people get hired in days. Slow processes mean missed hires.
How It Works
Fill out a 2-minute form: role, location, schedule needs, any must-haves. That's all we need to get started.
We source, call, and vet candidates from our local network. We check experience, availability, and fit — so you don't have to.
You get 3–5 candidates with our notes on each one. You decide who to interview. If none fit, we try again — no extra charge.
Our Screening Process
This isn't an algorithm. There's a real person reviewing every candidate.
We don't just scrape job boards. We actively recruit from hospitality communities, referral networks, and local culinary programs in the Bay Area.
No algorithm-only matching. We talk to every candidate about their experience, what they're looking for, and whether they're actually available.
Role-specific experience, schedule availability, location proximity, POS system knowledge, and whether they can start when you need them.
3–5 candidates who genuinely match what you asked for. Each profile includes our notes on why we think they'd be a good fit for your specific restaurant.
FOH Roles We Fill
We don't do kitchen staff, management, or back-office. We focus on the roles that directly shape your guest experience — and we get really good at screening for them.
Local First
We're starting in the Bay Area because we know it. The restaurant scene here is competitive, diverse, and fast-moving. We're building our candidate network neighborhood by neighborhood — so when you need a server in Palo Alto or a bartender in the Mission, we already have people in mind.
This isn't a nationwide job board trying to be everything to everyone. We're focused on one region, one industry segment, and doing it well before we expand.
Fine dining, upscale casual, neighborhood bistros, wine bars, hotel restaurants, and high-volume brunch spots. If you have a front-of-house, we can help staff it.
We're actively building relationships with hospitality workers across the Bay Area — through referrals, community events, and partnerships with local culinary programs.
Why We Built This
We've seen the same problem from both sides. Restaurant managers spending hours on hiring instead of running their business. Great hospitality workers stuck in application black holes, never hearing back.
Job boards weren't built for restaurants. They're built for volume — more applicants, more clicks, more revenue. But a restaurant doesn't need 80 applicants. It needs 3 good ones.
That's why we built FindFOH. We do the screening work that restaurant managers don't have time for. We talk to candidates, verify their experience, check their availability, and only send you people who actually match what you're looking for.
We're starting small — Bay Area only, front-of-house only. We'd rather be great at one thing than mediocre at everything.
The FindFOH Team
We're a small team that cares about getting this right. If you have questions, ideas, or just want to chat about the Bay Area restaurant scene — reach out. We read every message.
